The Upper Clutha Branch of the NZDA is committed to the promotion of hunting as a sport.

We share the national bodies mission statement:

"to retain, enhance and create opportunities for the enjoyment of legitimate recreational hunting and the sport of shooting, for the members of the association"

The Upper Clutha Branch is actively involved in encouraging our members activity in:

• regular hunting opportunities throughout the region
• hunter training via our HUNTS courses
• range shooting at our private 100m range
• assisting with Department of Conservation pest management initiatives
• monthly meetings with guest speakers: Wanaka Districts Club, Plantation Road, Wanaka at the earlier start time of 7.00pm.
• special events like our annual Wild Food Dinner and hunting competitions
